Gosia Kuźnicka studied at Trinity College of Music with Mayumi Fujikawa and Diana Cummings, and later with Joanna Mądroszkiewicz, pupil of Arthur Grumiaux in Vienna. More recently Gosia joined Gordan Nikolić’s (former leader of the LSO) and Goran Gribajcević’s class in Codarts, Rotterdam following her postgraduate studies in the UK.
In 2013, Gosia began a mentorship with the late Patrick Halling (former member of the Hirsch Quartet) and joined the Pro Musica Quartet where she played as second violinist under Pat, learning all the great Quartets. She has played and broadcast in the UK and has recorded for several artists including a CD ‘celebrating Jon Lord: Live at the Royal Albert Hall’. Gosia has also participated in masterclasses in the UK and in Europe with eminent musicians such as Nina Balabina and Oleg Balabin (renowned Violist), Menahem Pressler (Beaux Arts Trio), Pavel Vernikov (Vienna Conservatory), Mikayel Hakhnazaryan (Kuss Quartet) and Rachel Podger.
As an educator, Gosia has for many years been devoted to the Kodály and Colourstrings method and is a senior teacher at the North London Conservatoire which specialises in Colourstrings and she also teaches at the Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. She is also involved in other groups to further enable musicians some alongside Viktoria Grigoreva and striving to bring music to as many young people as possible.
